10th Annual Conference Empowers Women in Business through Networking, Collaboration and Learning Opportunities.

Peoria, IL -- September 17, 2009: The 10th Annual Pathways to Success Conference will be held Wednesday, October 21, at Holiday Inn Peoria City Centre. This daylong event, sponsored by the Central Illinois National Association of Women Business Owners and Women in Leadership, is tailored for businesswomen, offering seminars on communication, leadership and achieving personal goals while living an authentic life.
This year’s conference features keynote speaker Martha Mayhood Mertz, founder of ATHENA International, a non-profit organization that seeks to support, develop and honor women leaders, inspire women to reach their full potential, and create balance in leadership worldwide. She is also a speaker, author, and successful real estate entrepreneur as president and owner of the Michigan-based firm Mayhood/Mertz Investment, Inc.
Other speakers include:
- Cindy Fleming, President and Founder of VISIONSHIFT™ INC. Cindy will be facilitating the Morning Dynamic Communication Workshop. Dynamic Communication was designed to help people win, and to achieve a greater degree of success in life and work. Attendees will fill out online assessments prior to the conference and will receive a workbook and a 45+ page DISC & values report valued at $250.
- Colleen Callahan, former Agribusiness Director for WMBD Radio and TV and a small business owner specializing in giving motivational speeches, facilitating meetings and debates and connecting people, enabling them to develop strong professional relationships. Colleen is facilitating the "E’s Of Life - Not Winning Doesn't Mean Losing - The Making of Your Own Quilt" break-out session.
- Elizabeth A. Grant, author of Morning Commute, an audio book that helps listeners develop crucial mindsets, habits and beliefs to experience happiness from the inside out. She has been featured in the books Living the Law of Attraction and Serendipity Jane's Guide to Life Coaching. Elizabeth is facilitating the "Developing Personal Power Through Principals of Quantum Physics" break-out session, about recognizing your unique gifts, achieving goals, developing a clear purpose in life and more.
- Yvonne Greer, certified personal trainer, group fitness instructor, motivational coach/speaker and freelance television/radio personality who guest hosts on Chicago’s WGN Radio. Yvonne will be facilitating the “Leadership - Know Your Truth, Speak Your Truth, Live Your Truth” break-out session.
